Artist Residency
From July 2022, to June 2023 I will be Artist in Residence at McLuhan House Studio in Edmonton! I will use this time and space to create a body of work celebrating Ukrainian Heritage.
Community Weaving
The culmination of 2 x 5/hour days at Kaleido festival.Hosted by the Yielding Effort Group. AKA Mika Haykowsky and Breanna Barrington
Festival Go’ers
were invited to grab an item and weave it into the tapestry.
I spy
an ethernet cable, a lost sock, leaves, a blanket, a pizza pretzel bag.
Materials were all sourced from the reuse centre, our “junk drawers”, and festival go’ers pockets.
Pysanky for Peace
April 2022 I participated a live painting event to decorate 6’ tall Pysanky’s which raised over 100,000 for Ukrainian Canadian Social Services.
My Pysanka sold at auction for $950 with 100% of profits being donated.

Sow Our Spring (S.O.S. Vesna) Fundraiser, 2022
Ukraine Fundraiser painting created in March 2022, I have raised over $2,000 with this painting for Aid in Ukraine. Prints are still available.
“Dig” Found Festival
3 cubic yards of garden soil placed inside of a garbage enclosure on the Fringe Grounds, Dig was a collaborative performance about trash and eco anxiety.
Viewers were invited to contribute objects to the mound to become part of a collective story of the time we are living through.

I made these potholders for the Kitsch show at the Alberta Craft Council which ran for about 6 months between the galleries in Calgary and Edmonton.
